“Hard Times” has been sampled heavily by hip hop acts ranging from Ice Cube to A Tribe Called Quest. Baby Huey didn’t have any full length releases until after his premature death in 1970 at the age of 26, but The Baby Huey Story: The Living Legend, produced by Curtis Mayfield, is considered by some to be a classic.
